Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Humberto Villegas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernest Gammon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ernest Gammon enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Humberto Villegas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ernest Gammon! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Gammon. Gammon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Villegas is fending him off so far but Gammon persists. Nope, Villegas circles away and we're back to standing. Villegas throws a hook to the side of Gammon's head but Gammon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Gammon misses with a few strikes there.
Villegas looks for a takedown but Gammon sprawls well. Gammon has his takedown stuffed and Villegas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gammon won't be happy with that. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Gammon. Villegas moves out of range as Gammon throws a body kick.
Gammon darts in trying to clinch and Villegas counters with a single leg into guard. Gammon didn't expect that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Humberto Villegas dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gammon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Villegas paws at him with a jab and circles away. Villegas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gammon swivels and escapes. Gammon swinging wilding here.

Villegas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Villegas looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gammon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Villegas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Villegas is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gammon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gammon tries to escape but Villegas is in control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

He has the arm isolated but Gammon is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gammon is trying to control Villegas's posture but Villegas avoids it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gammon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Villegas as he avoids it easily. Gammon tries to clinch up and Villegas counters with a takedown into side control. Gammon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet.
