Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeda fails in his attempt to clinch.
Steele gets a takedown into half guard.
Steele really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Takeda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Takeda holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Takeda trying to hold on to Steele's head to control him but Steele postures up.
Steele is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Takeda defends it well.
Steele is working for a kimura but Takeda is defending it quite comfortably.
Takeda wants to improve his position but Steele is controlling well.
Takeda moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Steele is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Takeda has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Steele is looking to defend but Takeda has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Steele! Takeda pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Steele taps out and this one is all over!
