Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Soylent Green (ranked 335 p4p, 46 weight class) and Alastair Dunn (ranked 779 p4p, 105 weight class). Green comes to the cage accompanied by Crazy guy gets crazy!. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Soylent Green!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alastair Dunn!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunn moves away from the strike by Green.
Green blocks a jab.
Dunn catches Green with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Dunn throws a right hand that misses
and Green counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Green with a nice cross.
Green tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dunn misses with a looping right.
Alastair Dunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dunn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Green throws a big counter combination but Dunn scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Dunn swings away with a body shot that misses
and Green counters with a nice uppercut.
Green connects with a right hand. Dunn shakes it off.
A telegraphed right hand from Dunn misses the target.
A cross from Green lands.


Dunn is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dunn ducks under a wild hook from Green.
Dunn is still on wobbly legs! Can Green finish him?
Dunn blocks a low kick nicely.

Green drives through and clinches with Dunn against the cage.
Dunn seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Green's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Green throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dunn throws a right hand that Green ducks under and follows up with a left that Green also avoids with ease.

Green cracks Dunn with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Green has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dunn to stand back up!

Green moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Green misses with an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Dunn.
Dunn misses the body punch
and Green counters with a stiff right hand.
Dunn doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dunn dips to his left and cracks Green with an uppercut!
Dunn shoots in but no luck this time.
Dunn works Green's body with a nice hook.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dunn or perhaps it was just good defense by Green, which made it look bad.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A slapping body kick lands there for Green.
Green scores with a three punch combo!
Green fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dunn looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Dunn ducks under a wild hook from Green.
Dunn tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Green drops Dunn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dunn looks back up at him and smiles so Green waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Green lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Dunn falls backwards - clearly groggy! Green dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Soylent Green!
During a confident post fight interview, Soylent Green thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
