Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beast Mode (ranked 6209 p4p, 557 weight class) and Tank Ritchie (ranked 7138 p4p, 599 weight class). Tank Ritchie struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Tank Ritchie will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tank Ritchie! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ritchie. Tank Ritchie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mode throws a head kick that misses. Ritchie is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mode.
It looks like Tank Ritchie has been cut. Sloppy strikes from Ritchie. Those never looked like landing. Some wild striking there from Ritchie.
Mode scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Mode goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Ritchie misses the jab. Ritchie throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mode closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ritchie circles away. Ritchie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mode manages to avoid it. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ritchie moves out of range of the body kick from Mode.

Ritchie throws a right hand that Mode ducks under and follows up with a left that Mode also avoids with ease. Ritchie looks to land a combination but Mode avoids it well. Mode could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ritchie defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mode. Mode tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ritchie swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Beast Mode. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ritchie misses with a wild combination.
Mode closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mode keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ritchie's efforts to push away. Mode jumps guard.
Ritchie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mode has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ritchie has managed to get both his arms back between Mode's legs - danger averted. Ritchie preventing the sweep. Ritchie postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ritchie gets to his feet - Mode follows without any prompting. Ritchie takes a swing at Mode's ribcage but misses. Ritchie lands a head shot. Ritchie throws a right and a left that both miss. Ritchie jabs Mode to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ritchie throws a series of punches but Mode avoids them all with ease. Mode tries to close the distance and clinch but Ritchie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Mode shoots in for a takedown but Ritchie shows good takedown defense. Ritchie tries to land a leg kick but Mode saw it coming and moves away.
Mode tries to counter with a takedown but Ritchie is quick to defend against it. Mode blocks a head kick by Ritchie.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ritchie circles away from the clinch attempt and Ritchie counters with a straight right hand. Mode tries to close the distance and clinch but Ritchie swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tank Ritchie dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tank Ritchie's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ritchie has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ritchie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Tank Ritchie seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mode shoots in looking for a takedown. Ritchie tries to sprawl out of it but Mode keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ritchie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ritchie tries a head kick but it misses.
Mode throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ritchie. Mode has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mode there as he acknowledges the shot. Mode fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Beast Mode. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mode misses with a two punch combination.
Ritchie throws a nice looking combination but Mode bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Mode seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. A combination from Ritchie does no damage. We've been informed that Ritchie has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ritchie swinging wildly here.

Ritchie lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mode circles away quickly and effectively. Beast Mode is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ritchie throws a right hand that Mode ducks under and follows up with a left that Mode also avoids with ease. Tank Ritchie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mode. Mode shoots in but no luck this time. Mode shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ritchie as he avoids it easily. Ritchie lands with a shot to the body. Ritchie digs a good hook to Mode's body.

Mode is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Ritchie. Ritchie lands a jab-cross combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mode misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A little jabbing left from Ritchie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Mode avoids the head kick by Ritchie.

Mode throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ritchie's waist but Ritchie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mode off to one side. Ritchie lands a slapping body shot.

Mode quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Mode walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Beast Mode has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tank Ritchie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Nice body punch from Ritchie.
And that's the end of the fight! Tank Ritchie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Ritchie winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
