The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jernigan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jernigan misses with a body shot.
Mouthbreather appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

and Mouthbreather counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mouthbreather.
Jernigan is looking to stand back up but Mouthbreather counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jernigan.
Jernigan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mouthbreather on the ground.

Mouthbreather drops an elbow to the side of Jernigan's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mouthbreather working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mouthbreather is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Mouthbreather lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Jernigan has hold of Mouthbreather's hands but Mouthbreather slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Jernigan is rocked!
Mouthbreather controlling the pace.
Mouthbreather scores with a big shot! Jernigan's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Jernigan! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
