Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philip Kazakov (ranked 6131 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wyman Manderly (ranked 6361 p4p, 0 weight class). Philip Kazakov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Wyman Manderly's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Philip Kazakov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wyman Manderly! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manderly scores with a decent looking hook. Wyman Manderly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manderly throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Manderly ducks under a wild hook from Kazakov. Kazakov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kazakov gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kazakov tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kazakov breaks from the clinch.
Kazakov drops his hands momentarily and Manderly takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Kazakov rushes Manderly and presses him up against the cage. The referee calls for Kazakov to work.
Kazakov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Manderly is trying to break the clinch but Kazakov has him pressed against the cage. Kazakov is pushing Manderly up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Manderly prevents the takedown attempt.
Kazakov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Kazakov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Manderly is pushing down on Kazakov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kazakov is fighting to maintain full guard but Manderly has managed to sneak the leg through. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Manderly perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazakov gets back to full guard.
Kazakov is pulling down on Manderly's head to control his posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kazakov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Manderly can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kazakov lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kazakov stops Manderly from standing up. Kazakov sitting in guard here, content to control. Kazakov won't allow Manderly to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manderly looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Kazakov sitting in guard, not really doing much. Manderly wants to stand and escape but Kazakov is having none of it. Kazakov content to stall in guard here. Manderly is pulling down on Kazakov's head. It's preventing any offense from Kazakov, at least for the moment. Kazakov stands and throws Manderly's legs to the side, diving into side control. Manderly manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kazakov wants to pass the guard but Manderly is defending well. Kazakov seems to be looking for submissions.
Manderly keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Manderly is looking for a sweep. Kazakov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Manderly is trying to stand.
Kazakov perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kazakov is looking for a kimura here.
Manderly is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kazakov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Manderly works Kazakov's body with a nice hook. Kazakov is breathing heavily. Manderly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kazakov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Manderly changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Nice shot by Manderly. Manderly is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Manderly lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Manderly lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Manderly digs a good hook to Kazakov's body.
Manderly's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kazakov under the eye. Manderly clobbers Kazakov with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Kazakov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Manderly lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Manderly darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Manderly lands with a shot to the body. Kazakov takes one to the chin there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wyman Manderly dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Manderly lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Manderly has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Kazakov walks into a straight right hand from Manderly. Manderly lands a nice looking body shot.
Manderly lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kazakov instigates a clinch. Manderly working hard to break the clinch. Manderly working hard to break the clinch. Manderly working hard to break the clinch. Manderly can't break the clinch.
Kazakov pulls guard effortlessly. Manderly trying to control but Kazakov is working from the bottom. Kazakov trying to control the position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kazakov doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Manderly wants to stand but Kazakov is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazakov has his foot on Manderly's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manderly works his way back into a safe position though. Manderly won't allow Kazakov to sweep him here. Manderly slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kazakov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Manderly connects with a crisp jab. Manderly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kazakov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kazakov doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Manderly connects with a nice looking jab.
Kazakov walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kazakov gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Manderly lands a two punch combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kazakov avoids a punch combination nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kazakov throws out a loose jab but Manderly uses good head movement to avoid it. Manderly ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Kazakov misses the shot to the body. Manderly getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Manderly cracks Kazakov with an open hand slap. Kazakov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Manderly to score with a decent uppercut. Manderly takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Wyman Manderly seems to be getting the better of the standup. Manderly scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Manderly scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Manderly misses with a double jab.
Manderly paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Manderly darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Manderly lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Kazakov is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manderly keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Oh Kazakov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kazakov shoots for a double leg takedown but Manderly sprawls well. He's pushed Kazakov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Manderly throws a combination. Kazakov tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Manderly has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Manderly lands a body shot.
Manderly drops Kazakov with a straight right hand, right on the button! Manderly follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wyman Manderly!
