Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dimitri Reid! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beasley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reid swats him away and circles back towards the center. Reid darts in and clinches Beasley up against the cage. Reid lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Reid manages to break the clinch.
Reid tests Beasley's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Gonzalo Beasley has been cut. Beasley forces Reid back against the cage and clinches. Reid successfully pulls guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beasley postures up.
Beasley drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Beasley jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Reid trying to keep a closed guard but Beasley is proving a slippery customer.

Reid shoots in for a takedown but Beasley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. As Reid tries to get set, Beasley tries to push him back and clinch up but Reid manages to avoid the attempt. Reid gets in close and instigates a clinch. Reid is struggling to control the position. Beasley is trying to pull guard but Reid has him pressed against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Reid.
Reid has Beasley pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Beasley manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Reid with a knee to the head.
Reid is pushing Beasley up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Reid pulls guard. Reid trying to keep a closed guard but Beasley is proving a slippery customer.
Reid is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Beasley is aware though and is defending well. Reid lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Reid slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Reid pushes down on Beasley's leg and manages to get into half guard. Reid is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Reid in particular looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Reid wants to advance to full mount but Beasley doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Reid tries to free his leg and advance position but Beasley is retaining full guard. Reid trying to control the position from guard on top but Beasley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reid cracks Beasley with a solid left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Reid is defended easily by Beasley. Reid has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Reid tries to clinch but fails miserably and Beasley makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Reid really felt that one! Reid misses with a hook. Reid shoots in for a takedown but Beasley shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Reid is breathing heavily. Beasley tries to clinch but Reid moves out of range. Reid follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Beasley clinches with his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Reid jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Beasley walks away with a smile on his face. Reid gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dimitri Reid is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Reid stalks Beasley and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Beasley's face. Beasley staggers backwards, shaken. Beasley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Beasley manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Beasley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Reid gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Reid wants to get up but he can't break Beasley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Reid trying to control but Beasley is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beasley has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Reid is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Beasley. Beasley is trying to control Reid's posture but Reid avoids it. Reid remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Reid is working Beasley over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Beasley is trying to control Reid's posture but Reid avoids it. Beasley looks to move to half guard but instead Reid has passed into mount! Damn! Reid avoids the attempt from Beasley to control. Reid has hold of Beasley's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Beasley manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gonzalo Beasley will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Gonzalo Beasley's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Beasley wants it to stay on the feet. Reid darts in and clinches Beasley up against the cage. Beasley pressing his opponent against the cage. Reid wants to stand but Beasley has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Beasley wants to control but Reid is keeping busy and won't allow it. Beasley kicks Reid off and gets back to his feet. Reid misses with a takedown and Beasley holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beasley stops a takedown attempt from Reid.

Dimitri Reid seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Reid tries to break the clinch but Beasley is controlling the position. Reid has Beasley pressed against the cage.

Beasley is looking for a triangle here but Reid uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Beasley seems a little lost for a moment, as Reid dominates the positioning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beasley is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Beasley tries to bench press Reid off him but Reid keeps the position. Reid moves into full mount! Reid tries to control but Beasley wriggling away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Reid content just to control the position here.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gonzalo Beasley. I think Beasley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
