and Lemode counters with a straight right hand.

Babakov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lemode manages to avoid it.

Babakov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lemode manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circle momentarily. Babakov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lemode takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Lemode stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lemode pivots, looking for a leg kick but Babakov is out of range and Lemode settles back down.
Lemode connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Babakov's hands.
Babakov moves into range and clinches up with Lemode.
Lemode tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Babakov's elbow.
Lemode tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Babakov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lemode backwards.

and Lemode counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Sergei Babakov has been cut.
Sergei Babakov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

enabling Lemode to counter with a crisp jab.
Lemode throws a nice looking combination but Babakov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Lemode throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

It looks like Lemode has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Babakov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lemode on the side of the head.

and Lemode counters with a stiff right hand.

Babakov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lemode throws a head kick that Babakov semi-blocks.

Babakov fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Lemode to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Lemode looks to clinch but Babakov throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Lemode taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
