And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alexey Doskalchuk!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, David Hoff and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doskalchuk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hlali sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Doskalchuk somewhat.
Hlali bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Doskalchuk misses with a double jab.
Hlali throwing a counter right hand but Doskalchuk manages to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hlali looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hlali tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Doskalchuk swivels and escapes.
Hlali keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hlali shoots in looking for a takedown. Doskalchuk tries to sprawl out of it but Hlali keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Doskalchuk manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Doskalchuk throws a big counter head kick but Hlali avoids it with no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hlali gets to mount! Doskalchuk was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Doskalchuk is controlling an arm, preventing Hlali from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Doskalchuk is in all sorts of trouble here.

Hlali can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Doskalchuk is looking to escape.

Doskalchuk is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Doskalchuk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hlali scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Doskalchuk?
Doskalchuk tries to control Hlali's body but Hlali pushes him off. Doskalchuk squirms to his side and now Hlali has his back!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Doskalchuk rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
