Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Movsar Grigorian (ranked 7611 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mehdi Boukhidous (ranked 7478 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boukhidous shoots and misses
and Grigorian counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Grigorian moves in looking to clinch but Boukhidous pushes him off.
Boukhidous feints the counter takedown.
Boukhidous doesn't manage to clinch there - Grigorian circles away.
Grigorian ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Grigorian tries to land a front kick but Boukhidous steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Boukhidous dives in for a single leg takedown but Grigorian sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Grigorian closes the distance and clinches up with Boukhidous, looking for a takedown. Grigorian pushes Boukhidous against the cage but Boukhidous circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Grigorian fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boukhidous has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Boukhidous tries to close the distance and clinch up but Grigorian swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Grigorian appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Crunch! Boukhidous slams his shin into Grigorian's torso.

Grigorian throws a strike but Boukhidous rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Grigorian is striking from the bottom but Boukhidous uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Boukhidous seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Grigorian does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Boukhidous wants to get back to his feet but Grigorian is holding on tight.
Grigorian can't escape the position.
Boukhidous has control of Grigorian's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Grigorian regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Boukhidous jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Grigorian manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boukhidous tries to stand but Grigorian is controlling his head.
Grigorian tries to buck Boukhidous off but Boukhidous is having none of it.
Mehdi Boukhidous has got the better of the ground game so far.
Boukhidous controls the position from side control.
Boukhidous has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Mehdi Boukhidous comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Boukhidous has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
