Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Steel (ranked 924 p4p, 116 weight class) and Angel Face (ranked 1390 p4p, 175 weight class). Face has chosen Tyga - Real Deal as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, James Steel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angel Face! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel throws a lazy uppercut
and Steel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. A combination from Face does no damage. Steel connects with a body shot that sends Face's belly button to the back. Steel blocks a jab. That kick from Steel tenderised Face's leg. Face is trying to keep his angry face on. Steel with a body punch. A glancing blow. Face is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Steel. A jab from Steel does it's job there. Steel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Face's calf. Steel avoids the body shot from Face.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Face chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Steel can pounce on him.
Steel misses with a looping right. Steel shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Face looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A jab from Face misses. Steel lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Steel's jab looks to have found its range, popping Face under the eye. No joy there for Face, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Face has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Face there as he acknowledges the shot. Steel throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Face thows a left - swing and a miss! Steel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Face moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Face lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Steel attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Face throws out a counter right but Steel avoids it with no problem. Steel lands a right hook to the body.
Steel ducks under a wild hook from Face. Steel half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Steel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. James Steel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steel misses the shot to the body. Steel throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Steel scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Steel moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. We've been told by Steel's head coaches at Midnight MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Face blocks a jab. Face misses with an uppercut
letting Steel counter with a right hand. A telegraphed right hand from Face misses the target. Steel lands with a cross. Face swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Steel takes a swing at Face's ribcage but misses. Steel misses with a body shot.
Face scores with a jab. Steel tries to clinch up. Steel connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Face scores with a jab to the head.
Face keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Steel. Face on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Steel. Steel obviously looking to wear him down.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel scores with a nice head shot. Face moves out of range of the strikes. Face on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Steel scores with a nice strike. Face scores with the left hand. Steel knows he should have avoided that one. Face ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Face takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Steel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Face might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Face throws a big shot that misses. A left lands for Face. A left lands for Face. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Face misses with a wild combination.

and Face counters with a nice uppercut. Face blocks a jab. Steel swings for the body but Face moves out of range.
Face shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Face moves away from the strike by Steel. It seemed like Face was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A swing and a miss from Face. Steel half committed to a counter leg kick. Steel throws a lazy right hand but Face sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Face throws a shot from downtown. Steel moves away and avoids it. Steel moves out of range as Face strikes. Steel is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Steel dodges the punch combination from Face.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Steel changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Face throws a jab when Steel was well out of range. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
James Steel dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

enabling Steel to counter with a crisp jab. Face walks into a left hand. James Steel is winning the standup battle so far. Steel scores with a sloppy right hand. Face should have avoided that one. Steel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Face misses with a hook. Face avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Steel has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Face finds it's way round the side to connect with Steel's head. A cross from Steel lands. Face loads up on a big right hand but Steel slips the punch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Face's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Steel defending well as Face loads up on a big left hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Steel looks to throw the jab but Face is out of range.

Face misses with a looping left. Face listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Steel takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Steel lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Good shot there by Steel. Steel tries to land a leg kick but Face saw it coming and moves away.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel throws out a leg kick but Face moves out of range and Steel only half commits. Steel lands a jab to the nose. A nice inside leg kick there by Steel. That's going to slow Face down. Steel catches Face with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Face takes a shot right to the bread basket. Steel lands the left hand. Face takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Face is rocked! Steel looks to score with a jab to the body but Face is just out of range. Steel changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Steel is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Face can do to turn this around? Face is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Steel. Face is still on wobbly legs! Can Steel finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Face misses with a wild body shot. Steel is looking to slow Face down with leg kicks.

Steel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Face has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Face tries to move into range but Steel moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Face walks into a stiff left hand from Steel. A cross from Steel lands. Face lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Jab, jab by Face - just one landing. Steel throws a jab when Face was well out of range. Face misses with a straight right. Face on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Face blocks a jab. Steel slips a straight right by Face. Steel thuds his right hand into Face's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Face throws the left hand but Steel avoids the punch easily. Steel looks to land a combination but Face avoids it well. A countering left hand to the body from Face misses. Face throws a hook to the side of Steel's head but Steel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Steel throws a half hearted mid kick. Face swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Steel lands a nice leg kick that just misses Face's sensitive parts. Steel works Face's body with a nice hook. Face ducks under a wild hook from Steel. Steel fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Face checks it well. Steel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Face stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Steel misses with a straight left. Steel throws a low kick but Face moves out of range easily. Face pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Face fails to land with a series of punches.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Steel lands a slapping body shot.
Face takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Steel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Face has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Steel lands a jab to Face's midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Face staying out of range there. Face misses with a double jab.
Steel throws out a powerful jab. Steel slips under a jab. Steel moves into range and connects with a jab. Face tries to move into range but Steel moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Face's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Steel connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Face scrambles back to his feet. Steel lands a nice shot to the body.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Steel on the wrong end of a nice hook. Face throws a looping overhand right but Steel ducks down to avoid it. Face fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Steel manages to avoid it. Steel appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Steel lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Face at a distance.
Steel displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. James Steel is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Steel misses with a leg kick. Steel sizes up Face with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Steel scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Face will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Donk. Face catches Steel right on the button with a cross. Steel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Face connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Steel scrambles back to his feet. Steel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Face on the wrong end of a nice hook. Face takes one to the side of the head.
Steel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Face sees it coming and avoids it easily. Face misses with the combination.
Steel cracks Face with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Angel Face has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Face swings for the body but Steel moves out of range.

And that's the end of the fight! James Steel showed his dominance in that final round. Well Steel has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
