Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Darren Tellkins (ranked 5659 p4p, 417 weight class) and Ibragim Magomedov (ranked 24287 p4p, 507 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tellkins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rae Sremmurd - Powerglide ft. Juicy J. Ibragim Magomedov acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov shoots for a double leg takedown but Tellkins sprawls well. He's pushed Magomedov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tellkins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Magomedov's head backwards.
Tellkins cracks Magomedov with a good jab.
Magomedov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tellkins avoids it really well and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Tellkins on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Magomedov closes the distance but Tellkins moves to the side
enabling Tellkins to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Magomedov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tellkins avoids it really well and circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Tellkins is pressed up against the ropes. Magomedov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tellkins down to the mat. Tellkins avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Magomedov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Tellkins lands a nice hook to Magomedov's body. Magomedov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Tellkins rushes Magomedov and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Tellkins lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Magomedov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Tellkins throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Magomedov blocks it with crossed arms.

Tellkins creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Magomedov with a big uppercut! Magomedov tries to clinch up but Tellkins pushes him back against the ropes and lands another monster strike that crumples Magomedov to the mat! Magomedov covers up and Tellkins unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Darren Tellkins decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
