The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Svensson throws out a loose jab but Halo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Svensson misses with a body shot.
Halo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Halo showed some decent athleticism there.
Halo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Halo scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Svensson won't allow Halo to pass to mount.

Halo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Halo is on top in guard.

Svensson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Halo to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Svensson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Halo pulls down on the head and he's put Svensson to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kassius Halo!
An intense looking Kassius Halo took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'There isn't a fighter alive that I cannot make submit or go to sleep on the mat. There's no guessing, i will take you down.'.
