Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Brito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Mrs.Crowley. - Ozzy Osbourn as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Brito! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ivson Silva! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Daniel Cesar and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silva tries to clinch but Brito is having none of it. Brito fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Silva sprawls well initially but Brito persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Silva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Silva trying to control here.
Brito takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Brito thows a huge punch but Silva dodges it nicely.
Brito controlling the pace. Silva tries to get to full guard but Brito has control of the leg. Brito wants to pass to mount but Silva is defending the position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brito's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brito prevents Silva from improving his position. Brito keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Silva is trying to maintain the position but Brito is very close to passing his half guard. Brito not doing much here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Silva wants to control but Brito passes into side.
Brito tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Brito is breathing heavily. Silva regains half guard. Silva trying to control but Brito postures up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brito prevents Silva from improving his position. Brito stalling. Brito is tying to control. Silva wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Silva wants to improve his position but Brito is controlling well.
Brito wants to pass to mount but Silva is defending the position. Brito gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Silva cracks Brito with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Silva wants to clinch up but Brito keeps it at a distance. Brito misses with a straight right. Silva with a poor takedown and Brito counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silva! Brito get's back to his feet. Silva fails in his attempt to clinch. Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brito swats him away and circles back towards the center. Brito circles away from the clinch attempt and Brito counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felipe Brito dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Brito. Silva breaks from the clinch.
Brito gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Silva. Brito is trying to break free. Brito wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Silva has him pressed against the cage. Silva can't get the takedown.

Brito misses with an elbow over the top. Silva landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Silva decides to pull guard. Brito tries to free his leg and advance position but Silva is retaining full guard. Brito won't allow Silva to get back to his feet. Brito trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brito thows a big elbow that misses. Brito wants to stand and escape but instead Silva has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Brito looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there. Brito is trying to control the position but Silva postures up. Silva postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Brito shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Silva pinned against the cage. Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Brito is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Silva.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Felipe Brito has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivson Silva. Brito wants to clinch and Silva counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Brito digs a right hand underneath Silva's ribcage. Silva let out a lung full of air as it connected. Brito is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Silva trying to stall but Brito improves his position.
Silva prevents a takedown attempt there.
Silva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brito is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Brito wants to stall.
Silva connects with a knee to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brito tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silva just stands there and leans against the cage. Brito is trying to break free. Silva keeps control of Brito as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. A short left from Silva. Brito wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Brito lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Brito postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Silva to stand up. Silva misses with a combination
and Brito counters with a single leg into guard. Silva didn't expect that. Brito preventing the sweep. Brito gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Some wild striking there from Brito.
Silva throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brito throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily. Silva forces Brito back against the cage and clinches. Silva manages to pull guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Silva controls Brito momentarily but Brito frees himself. Silva keeping moving, preventing Brito from controlling successfully. Brito gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Brito feints and as Silva raises his hands in defense, Brito changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brito stands and steps away. Silva gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Felipe Brito dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Silva fails with the takedown and Brito counters with a takedown into side control. Brito stands up and we're back to a striking position. Brito darts in trying to clinch and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Silva misses with a takedown and Brito counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brito can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva is trying to keep Brito in close.
Brito sitting in guard here, content to control. Silva wants to get back to his feet but Brito is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Brito passes Silva's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Silva wants to control but Brito is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Brito slows the pace down in half guard. Silva is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Silva is looking to get back to full guard here but Brito has managed to pass to side control instead. Brito content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brito cracks Silva with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Felipe Brito overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brito wants to control but instead Silva manages to regain half guard. Silva is staying active underneath Brito, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Brito looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Brito trying to control from half guard but Silva is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Brito missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Brito blocks the strikes from Silva.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Brito is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ivson Silva has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Felipe Brito is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Brito tries to hold on but Silva postures up.
And that's the end of the fight! Felipe Brito showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Brito, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
