Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Huffy Sanna (ranked 2011 p4p, 248 weight class) and Daniel Jones (ranked 2613 p4p, 304 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Huffy Sanna! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Jones! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanna tries to sprawl but Jones drives through with a takedown into half guard. Sanna is trying to control but can't.
Jones stops Sanna from getting back to his feet.
Sanna wants to improve his position but Jones is controlling well.
Jones not landing any meaningful shots this time. Sanna trying to hold on to Jones's head to control him but Jones postures up.
Sanna is concentrating on defense, preventing Jones from advancing position. Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sanna looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sanna has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jones is on him like a limpet, forcing Sanna back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanna tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position. Sanna breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sanna throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Jones is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Sanna looks to throw the jab but Jones is out of range. Jones fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jones gets a double leg takedown into Sanna's guard. Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Sanna. Sanna is working hard here to advance position. Sanna has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Sanna wants to stand up but Jones is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones sitting in guard here, content to control. Sanna escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jones gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sanna keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jones slips a jab from Sanna. Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jones's coach down at Melhor Lutador MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jones's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Sanna throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jones fails in his attempt to clinch. Sanna thuds his shin into the meat of Jones's side. Sanna with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Jones stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sanna. Sanna throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Sanna scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Sanna sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jones misses with a takedown and Sanna counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Huffy Sanna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanna misses the shot to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones. Sanna appears to be looking for a big counter. Huffy Sanna has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Jones. Jones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sanna as he jumps to the side. Sanna fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it. Sanna throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanna comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Jones on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones slips a straight right by Sanna. The fighters circling - Sanna throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Jones drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sanna defends it well. Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Sanna bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Nice sprawl there from Sanna as Jones shoots in. It looked like Sanna wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jones on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Sanna misses with a body shot.
Sanna fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Jones has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. A combination from Jones does no damage. Jones closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sanna quickly recovers to half guard. Jones missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sanna has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jones is on him like a limpet, forcing Sanna back against the cage. Still in the clinch, Sanna scores with a nice short uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Huffy Sanna dominated that round. That's time! Sanna's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Jones moves out of range of the leg kick from Sanna. Huffy Sanna is winning the standup battle so far. Sanna throws a looping overhand right but Jones ducks down to avoid it. Huffy Sanna is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. That kick from Sanna tenderised Jones's leg. Jones is trying to keep his angry face on. Jones checks a low kick from Sanna. Sanna swings widly with a right hand
and Jones counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Sanna manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Sanna breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanna tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Sanna. Jones changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Jones takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones has a takedown stuffed. Sanna scores with a crisp jab that stopped Jones in his tracks. Sanna throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily. Sanna swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Sanna! Sanna is trying to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sanna, who protects the arm well. Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sanna knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sanna manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts. Jones prevents Sanna from standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sanna is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jones's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jones's back! Sanna has the hooks in. Jones is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Jones wants to control his opponent's hands but Sanna gets his hands free. Sanna slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Jones looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Huffy Sanna overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Sanna is not going to allow Jones to sit and survive in this position. Good control from Sanna.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones is keeping busy.
Jones trying to control the action but Sanna just sinks the hooks in. Jones breaks Sanna's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Sanna utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sanna looking for a sweep. Not yet Sanna, not yet. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanna is trying to keep Jones in close.
Sanna wants to sweep but no luck. Sanna pulls Jones in close to his closed guard and prevents Jones from doing any damage or advancing position. Sanna avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sanna wants to sweep but no luck.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A big right from Sanna misses. And Jones tries to counter it with a takedown but Sanna pushes his down on his head and steps out. Sanna misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sanna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jones moves away. A clash of legs there as Jones blocks the low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Huffy Sanna dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

It looks like Huffy Sanna has been cut. Jones pushes Sanna up against the cage in a clinch. Jones taking a breather. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jones takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sanna has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Sanna pushes Jones back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Jones pulls Sanna into guard.
Sanna trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones pulls Sanna in close to prevent any damage. Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanna trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom. Sanna advances to half guard. Jones is trying is best to control the position here. Let's hope that Jones has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Jones trying to control from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sanna wants to free his trapped foot but Jones is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sanna sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat. Jones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Sanna slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat. Sanna connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Huffy Sanna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones. Jones is looking to take a break and control but Sanna is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sanna dodges the ground and pound from Jones.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sanna, who protects the arm well. I wouldn't like to be where Sanna is right now. Jones tries for a kimura but Sanna is defending well. Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sanna keeps working. Jones working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sanna looks to move to half guard but instead Jones has passed into mount! Damn! Sanna tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away. Sanna sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Jones sitting and controlling from the half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jones is thwarting Sanna's attempts to control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sanna has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
