The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guandelino has managed to clinch.
Guandelino lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Jimbo Malac has been cut.
Malac tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Guandelino smiles and moves away.
Guandelino is looking to clinch.
Malac will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Guandelino tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Malac paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Malac shoots in but no luck this time.
Matheus Guandelino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimbo Malac.
Guandelino clinches up with Malac and pushes him back against the cage.
Guandelino connects with a nasty looking knee right to Malac's face.
Malac tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Guandelino gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Malac looks gassed!
Guandelino lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
That has opened up Jimbo Malac's cut even more.
Guandelino scores with a knee to the head.
The cut above Jimbo Malac's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Guandelino lands an elbow inside that Malac shrugs off.
Malac is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jimbo Malac's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
