1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fejha Kurko! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! CAPETA shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kurko but Kurko pushes him off and we're back to square one. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. CAPETA has momentary wrist control but Kurko slips an elbow through the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

CAPETA had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kurko is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. CAPETA Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kurko's back instead. Kurko is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if CAPETA gets his way!

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to JHONNES CAPETA. Well Kurko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
