Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alica Lich (ranked 5498 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Jojo (ranked 5987 p4p, 0 weight class). Jojo has chosen whatever as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alica Lich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Jojo!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lich tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jojo defends well and Lich ends up having to push Jojo into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Lich shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lich was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Lich thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Check out the look on Lich's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Jojo prevents Lich from moving into mount.
Lich moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Lich is trying to get an arm triangle but Jojo is defending well.

Jojo is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Jojo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lich has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lich darts in and clinches Jojo up against the cage.
Jojo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Jojo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Lich keeps control of Jojo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lich crunches a lovely knee into Jojo's ribcage.
Lich tries to pull guard but Jojo holds him up against the cage and eventually Lich drops back down to his feet.

Lich decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Lich shoots in and bounces Jojo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lich is standing up over Jojo. Jojo looks to escape but Lich dives into side control.
Jojo wants to get back to his feet.
Lich is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jojo has escaped the position, nice work there.

Lich wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jojo, who protects the arm well.
Lich happy to just control the position for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lich shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Lich passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jojo!

Jojo tries to buck Lich off but he can't manage it.

Lich's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Lich has hold of Jojo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jojo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Jojo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lich lands a couple of good shots and Jojo has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Lich lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
Lich has got one arm under Jojo's chin. This could be trouble... Jojo trying to control the other hand but Lich gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Jojo has tapped out! The fight is over!
