And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Havasu!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havasu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Havasu looking to score a takedown here. The Beast is defending well but Havasu drives through and ends up in The Beast's guard.
Havasu postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The Beast seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Havasu is defended easily by The Beast.
Havasu tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but The Beast defends well and Havasu ends up having to push The Beast into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Havasu enables The Beast to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Havasu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Beast stands up over Havasu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Havasu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and The Beast defends well.

Havasu is rocked!
The Beast arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Havasu's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Brock The Beast!
Brock The Beast decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
