Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roland Begovic (ranked 3665 p4p, 490 weight class) and Kelly Leak (ranked 4857 p4p, 604 weight class). Begovic's entrance music is Cavoglave. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Begovic swinging wildly here.
Leak looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Kelly Leak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leak keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Begovic bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Leak's head.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Leak accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Leak takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Begovic throws a leg kick which misses Leak's front leg but catches the back leg as Leak tries to avoid it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Leak is looking for a kimura but Begovic is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Leak to get the leverage.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Good leg kick by Begovic there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Begovic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leak.
Leak drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Begovic defends it well.

Begovic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Begovic has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
