Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam B Glenn (ranked 3045 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis Rampage (ranked 3423 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam B Glenn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lewis Rampage! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glenn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Glenn shoots in and drives through. Rampage sprawls well. Rampage shoots in for a takedown but Glenn shows good takedown defense. Glenn goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Rampage looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rampage looks to land a combination but Glenn avoids it well. Sam B Glenn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Glenn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Glenn wants it to stay on the feet. Sam B Glenn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lewis Rampage. Glenn throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rampage. Rampage shoots in for a double leg but Glenn sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Glenn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Glenn has closed the distance and engaged Rampage in a clinch.
Rampage tries to land knees in the clinch but Glenn avoids the damage to the body. Glenn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rampage tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Glenn swivels and escapes. Glenn darts in and clinches Rampage up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glenn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Glenn lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Lewis Rampage has been cut. A head kick misses from Glenn. Rampage is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Glenn gets tackled into the cage by Rampage. Rampage maintains the clinch. Rampage is fighting off a takedown attempt but Glenn is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Rampage to the mat. Rampage regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Glenn throws a big elbow that misses. Glenn slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rampage is working an open guard so Glenn takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Rampage takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rampage on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Rampage decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Glenn tries to kick Rampage off but Rampage keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rampage trying to mount his opponent but Glenn defends it. Rampage is looking to stall here but Glenn recovers full guard. Rampage postures up in Glenn's guard and throws a big left but Glenn blocks it. Glenn wants to get back to his feet but Rampage is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Rampage looking to pass the guard. Glenn working a defensive guard here.

Rampage drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Glenn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Rampage has Glenn in his guard. Glenn throws a big elbow that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glenn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Glenn is in close to Rampage's body, working some short punches and elbows. Glenn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rampage's head. Glenn is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Rampage is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glenn connects with a couple of short punches. Glenn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Glenn working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rampage wants to sweep here but Glenn controlling him for the moment. Glenn trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rampage's guard. Glenn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rampage has a closed guard, preventing Glenn from standing up. Glenn trying to control the position from guard on top but Rampage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sam B Glenn is winning the standup battle so far. Rampage wants to clinch. Glenn seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Glenn tries to close the distance and clinch but Rampage swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Glenn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Rampage can do to turn this around? Glenn darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Glenn clinches up with Rampage and pushes him back against the cage. Rampage tries to land knees in the clinch but Glenn avoids the damage to the body. Glenn pulls guard effortlessly. Glenn looking for a guillotine here but Rampage defends easily.
Sam B Glenn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Glenn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rampage pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Glenn tries to clinch up but Rampage circles away and keeps his distance. Nice takedown defense from Rampage. No joy for Glenn on that attempt. Rampage fails with an attempt to clinch.
Glenn gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Glenn has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rampage is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Rampage misses with an elbow strike.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Glenn jumps guard and drags Rampage to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Rampage trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rampage stands up and waves to Glenn to follow him. Glenn drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rampage tries to land a sweep but no joy. Glenn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rampage swivels though and keeps the full guard. Glenn scoring with punches to the head and body. Glenn slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Glenn in side control lands a decent elbow. Rampage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glenn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Glenn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rampage keeps working. Glenn decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rampage to his feet. Glenn has closed the distance and engaged Rampage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glenn is trying to trip Rampage. He has hold of a leg but Rampage is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Glenn persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Glenn content to stall in guard here. Glenn trying to control the position from guard on top but Rampage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Glenn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Glenn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Glenn looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Rampage is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Glenn managing to block the knees to the body from Rampage.

Glenn feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rampage's calf. Rampage fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Glenn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rampage's waist but Rampage gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glenn off to one side. Rampage has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Glenn finds it's way round the side to connect with Rampage's head. Glenn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Glenn lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glenn controlling the action here. Rampage is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Glenn looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Glenn seems to be working for a kimura but Rampage defends the submission attempt. Glenn working the head and body with strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Rampage is staying active underneath Glenn, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Glenn controlling the action here. Glenn is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rampage has managed to free his arm - good work. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rampage can do anything to dispel that myth. Glenn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Glenn is trying to control the action in half guard but Rampage is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Glenn working over Rampage with some ground and pound. Rampage looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Rampage is looking to improve his position.

Sam B Glenn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Still in half guard, Glenn seems content to control. Glenn seems to be working for a kimura but Rampage defends the submission attempt. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Glenn looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
And that's the end of the fight! Sam B Glenn showed his dominance in that final round. Well Glenn has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
