Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martyn Ford (ranked 6839 p4p, 695 weight class) and Dunning Kruger (ranked 3268 p4p, 452 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Martyn Ford! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dunning Kruger! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Kruger. Ford does a little dance to reset his feet. Good shot there by Kruger. Kruger checks a leg kick. Ford fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kruger avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ford takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruger throws out a loose jab but Ford uses good head movement to avoid it. Nice defenses there by Ford. Kruger moves out of range of the body kick. Ford darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ford is working for a kimura here but Kruger manages to reverse the position and he's now in Ford's guard.

Kruger wants to pass the guard but Ford is keeping the position. Kruger wants to control from the top but Ford keeps moving. Ford preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kruger trying to control the position from guard on top but Ford is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kruger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ford swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ford trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruger throwing strikes but missing. Kruger thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Ford keeping moving, preventing Kruger from controlling successfully. Ford wants to sweep here but Kruger controlling him for the moment. Kruger connects with a couple of short punches. Ford had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kruger defends it easily. Kruger working some strikes from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kruger got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ford has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kruger has managed to get both his arms back between Ford's legs - danger averted. Kruger in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ford is trying to control the position but Kruger postures up. Kruger is looking to stand up but Ford won't let him. Ford not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kruger is in close to Ford's body, working some short punches and elbows. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kruger throwing strikes from guard but Ford blocks nicely. Kruger wants to control from the top but Ford keeps moving. Kruger landing some decent shots from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dunning Kruger dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ford throws a sloppy head kick and Kruger moves out of range easily. Ford moves away from the strike by Kruger. Ford misses with a body shot.
Kruger pushes Ford up against the cage in a clinch. Ford tries to pull guard but Kruger holds him up against the cage and eventually Ford drops back down to his feet.
Kruger turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Ford is looking to reverse the position. Ford is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Ford tries to bench press Kruger off him but Kruger keeps the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kruger lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ford down.
Kruger is putting a hurting on Ford here, landing some big shots from side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kruger trying to control the action but Ford is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ford is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kruger goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Ford rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kruger's guard! Nice work there by Ford! Kruger looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ford might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kruger keeping moving, preventing Ford from controlling successfully. Ford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kruger swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kruger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ford is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Kruger looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Ford is pushing down on Kruger's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kruger is fighting to maintain full guard but Ford has managed to sneak the leg through. Ford wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kruger keeps working. Ford is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Kruger to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Kruger controls Ford momentarily but Ford frees himself. Kruger is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ford advances to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dunning Kruger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Ford looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ford gets a double leg takedown into Kruger's guard. Ford avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kruger has his feet on Ford's thighs here. He's pushed Ford off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Ford screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
