Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Paddy (ranked 2063 p4p, 246 weight class) and Hans Hermann Hoppe (ranked 1249 p4p, 158 weight class). Hoppe has chosen Wind of Change as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Max Paddy has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Max Paddy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hans Hermann Hoppe! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoppe throws a sloppy head kick and Paddy moves out of range easily. Hans Hermann Hoppe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoppe throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hoppe feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Paddy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Hoppe won't allow Paddy to sweep him here. Hoppe throws a big elbow that misses. Hoppe working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Paddy's head. Paddy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hoppe postures up in Paddy's guard and throws a big left but Paddy blocks it. Paddy is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hoppe is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hoppe is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hoppe working some strikes from top position. Hoppe landing with the ground and pound. Hoppe postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paddy keeping moving, preventing Hoppe from controlling successfully. Hoppe with a nice head shot there. Paddy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hoppe scoring with some ground and pound. Hoppe lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hoppe tries to free his leg and advance position but Paddy is retaining full guard. Hoppe sitting in guard here, content to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hoppe works over Paddy with some ground and pound from guard. Paddy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hoppe with a nice head shot there. Hoppe lands a couple of digs. Hoppe lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Paddy wants to stand but Hoppe is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoppe makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hoppe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Paddy swivels though and keeps the full guard. Paddy looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Paddy controls Hoppe momentarily but Hoppe frees himself. Hoppe works over Paddy with some ground and pound from guard. Paddy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hoppe is one step ahead there. Paddy keeping moving, preventing Hoppe from controlling successfully. Hoppe scoring with punches to the head and body. Paddy working a defensive guard here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoppe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Paddy's head. Hoppe with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Paddy is looking for a triangle but Hoppe pushes his legs off easily.
Hoppe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hoppe scoring with some ground and pound. Paddy is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Paddy has momentary wrist control but Hoppe slips an elbow through the middle.
Paddy is rocked! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hoppe's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Oh Paddy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Hoppe is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hoppe postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hoppe postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Paddy covers up, he's hurt! Hoppe keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Hoppe and the ref steps in to end the fight! Hoppe can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hans Hermann Hoppe! A less than humble Hans Hermann Hoppe misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
