Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jose Cordolha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Chandler!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler cracks Cordolha with a good jab.
Cordolha throws a nice looking combination but Chandler bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cordolha fails with a takedown attempt.
Chandler throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chandler lands an overhand right.
Chandler decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Cordolha wants to control but Chandler is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Cordolha is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chandler is aware though and is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cordolha working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chandler doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chandler manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Chandler stands and steps away. Cordolha gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Oh Cordolha is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chandler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cordolha, pushing him back against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cordolha can't get the takedown.
Chandler manages to break the clinch.
Cordolha seems to have got his legs back now.
Chandler connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Chandler clinches up against the cage.
Chandler lands a nice knee to the body.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Chandler dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Chandler keeps the fight on the outside.
Chandler with the counter takedown but Cordolha avoids it easily.
Chandler scores with a jab to the body.
Chandler shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cordolha manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Chandler wants to control from the top but Cordolha keeps moving.
Chandler seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Chandler is sitting in close to Cordolha's body. Cordolha has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Chandler is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Chandler is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Cordolha.

An intense looking Jose Cordolha took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'I'm the best.'.
