Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Barnett (ranked 1477 p4p, 187 weight class) and Isaac Frye (ranked 3608 p4p, 396 weight class). Barnett comes to the cage accompanied by Move. Frye is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bombshell. Isaac Frye will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buddy Barnett!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Isaac Frye!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frye lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Frye ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barnett moves away.
Barnett shoots in but no luck this time.
Barnett with a poor takedown
and Frye counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Barnett thinking.
Horrible takedown attempt by Barnett or perhaps it was just good defense by Frye, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buddy Barnett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barnett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Frye's waist but Frye gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barnett off to one side.
Frye lands a left and a right that send Barnett crashing to the mat, dazed. Frye thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Barnett is rocked!
It looks like Buddy Barnett has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Frye connects with a stiff jab that staggers Barnett - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Isaac Frye!
Isaac Frye is the new middleweight champion!
After winning the bout, Isaac Frye thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
