Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joshua Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Leen! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Leen is just out of range. Jackson misses with a looping right. Leen connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Jackson misses with a body shot.
Jackson takes a swing at Leen's ribcage but misses. Leen is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Leen loads up on a big right hand but Jackson slips the punch. Leen misses with a left hand and Jackson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Leen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jackson's sensitive parts. Leen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Leen stands up and waves to Jackson to follow him. A nice inside leg kick there by Leen. That's going to slow Jackson down. Jackson misses with a wild body shot. Leen wants to counter with a clinch but Jackson pushes him away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson misses the body punch and Leen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Leen has managed to clinch.
Leen tries to score a body lock takedown but Jackson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Leen has picked Jackson up - he's going for a ride! Leen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Leen performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Jackson wants to improve his position but Leen is controlling well.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jackson tries to get out of the position. My spies in Gym inform me that Leen has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is trying to stand up here but Leen is controlling him well. Leen content to control rather than advance.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Leen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jackson quickly recovers to half guard. Jackson manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Leen keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Jackson is trying to break free. Jackson lands with a right to the head. Leen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Jackson is trying to break the clinch but Leen has him pressed against the cage. Leen makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Jackson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Jackson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Leen backwards. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jim Leen will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Leen thows a leg kick but Jackson checks it and Jackson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A leg kick checked by Jackson. Nice cross by Jackson. Leen closes the distance and pushes Jackson back into the cage. Leen prevents a body shot from Jackson. Leen breaks the clinch.
Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leen circles away quickly and effectively. Jackson is looking to wear down Leen with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Leen swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Leen saw that one coming. Leen on the wrong end of a nice hook. A telegraphed right hand from Jackson misses the target. The crowd cheers as Leen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jackson doesn't seem phased though. Leen swings widly with a right hand
and Jackson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jim Leen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Leen throws out the jab. Jackson misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round. Leen fails with a takedown attempt. Leen doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Leen misses with a low kick as Jackson jumps back. It looks like Jackson has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Leen slips a jab from Jackson. Jackson on the wrong end of a nice jab. Leen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Leen is looking to clinch. Jackson lands with a cross. Leen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jackson.
Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Leen manages to avoid it. Leen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jackson throws a shot from downtown. Leen moves away and avoids it. Jackson misses with a wild body shot. Leen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Leen shoots in and bounces Jackson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Leen controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leen stands up and waves to Jackson to follow him. Leen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jackson. Leen missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Joshua Jackson is winning the standup battle so far. A right-left combo lands from Jackson.
It looks like Jim Leen has been cut. Leen darts in looking for a takedown but Jackson gets double underhooks and turns Leen into the cage. Leen is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Jackson moves out of range of the strikes. Leen moves into the clinch successfully.

A head punch on the inside from Leen fails to land. Leen scores with a shot to the side of Jackson's head. Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jackson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Jackson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Leen circles away quickly and effectively. A shot to the body from Leen misses and Jackson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Leen connects with a crisp jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.

Jackson misses with a wild body shot. Leen looks to land a combination. Jackson sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jackson waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Leen. A punch combination from Jackson misses. Jackson tries to move into range but Leen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Leen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Jackson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Leen swings widly with a right hand
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jackson swings for the body but Leen moves out of range.
Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Leen ducks down to avoid it. Jackson looks to throw the jab but Leen is out of range. Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing. Jackson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Leen back to the cage. Jackson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Joshua Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson takes a swing at Leen's ribcage but misses. Leen is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Jackson with a body shot. Leen swings for the body but Jackson moves out of range.

Leen cracks Jackson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Leen throws a big shot that misses. It looked like Jackson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Leen throws a leg kick which misses Jackson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jackson tries to avoid it. Jackson checks a low kick from Leen. Leen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jackson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Leen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Leen looks to score with a jab to the body but Jackson is just out of range. It looked like Jackson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Joshua Jackson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Leen misses with a straight left. Leen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Jackson sets himself, and Leen steps forward looking for the clinch! Jackson avoids it this time. Jackson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Leen connects with a nice looking jab.
Jackson is rocked! Leen stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Leen shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Leen slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Leen lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Jim Leen! After the fight, Jim Leen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
