Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between keiran meredith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toby Tamptino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think meredith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to eye of the tiger. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
meredith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tamptino circles away quickly and effectively.
meredith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tamptino's waist but Tamptino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing meredith off to one side.
meredith shoots for a double leg takedown but Tamptino sprawls well. He's pushed meredith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

meredith shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tamptino but Tamptino pushes him off and we're back to square one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

meredith looks up at the clock. Bad move! Tamptino lands a right hand from hell, dropping meredith. Tamptino pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
