Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bastyn Dall (ranked 846 p4p, 96 weight class) and Mario Curran (ranked 680 p4p, 80 weight class). Dall's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Beast. Bastyn Dall is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dall avoids a punch combination nicely.
Curran takes one to the chin there.
Curran jabs Dall to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Curran looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Curran connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Dall attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Dall takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Curran buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Curran fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Dall takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dall is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Curran shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dall manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dall looking for a guillotine here but Curran defends easily.

Dall has his hands on Curran's head, controlling the position.

Curran slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dall is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Curran loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Dall has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Curran has passed into side control.
You can see the frustration on Dall's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dall is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Curran grinds an elbow into Dall's temple.
Dall tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Dall is desperately trying to improve his position but Curran has a good base and remains in mount.
Dall tries to lock up and control but Curran gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dall bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

That was a close round but I would say that Bastyn Dall will probably get the nod.

Dall has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Curran fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dall looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Curran turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dall throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Curran is looking to score with low kicks.
Curran punishes Dall's body with a nice straight punch.
Curran uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dall.

Curran throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dall works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Curran stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Curran wants to work for an arm triangle but Dall is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dall wants to hold on but Curran pushes him away.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dall reaches up to try and control the position but Curran seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Dall rolls and tries to escape and now Curran has his back!

I would just about give that final round to Mario Curran.
