Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 22 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Head Coach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 1, fighting out of London, Clayton Channings!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Channings lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Coach backs up against the cage.
Coach throws a predictable looking body shot
and Channings counters with a nice uppercut.
Channings looks to throw the jab but Coach is out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Channings.
Channings showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Coach.
Channings misses with a looping left.
Coach fails with an attempt to clinch.
It seemed like Channings was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Coach stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Coach doesn't manage to clinch there - Channings circles away.
Coach takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Channings scores with a decent looking hook.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Channings changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Coach fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Coach has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Damage Inc. in the buildup to the fight.
Channings goes for a double leg but Coach avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Coach continues to drive forward.
Head Coach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clayton Channings.

Coach moves into range and clinches up with Channings.
Channings has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Coach throws an elbow that misses.
Coach blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Coach stops a takedown attempt from Channings.
Channings blocks the elbow strike.
Coach lands an elbow inside.
Coach gets through Channings's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Coach misses with a hook to the ribs.

Channings is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Coach is defending well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Channings is trying to drag Coach to the mat but Coach just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Channings blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Coach misses with a hook to the ribs.

Channings blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Channings wants to take the fight to the mat but Coach manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Coach is pressed up against the cage. Channings has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Coach down to the mat. Coach avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Coach connects with a right hand. Channings shakes it off.

And Channings tries to counter it with a takedown but Coach pushes his down on his head and steps out.
No luck for Channings with that takedown attempt.
Channings misses with an uppercut. Coach saw that one coming.
Coach looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Channings is fending him off so far but Coach persists. Nope, Channings circles away and we're back to standing.

and Channings counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Coach fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Channings manages to avoid it.
Coach tries to clinch but Channings is having none of it.
A jab from Channings misses.
Coach seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Channings blocks a head kick by Coach.
Channings is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Channings has a takedown stuffed.
Coach tries to clinch up but Channings circles away and keeps his distance.
A low kick from Coach misses

and Channings counters with a single leg into guard. Coach didn't expect that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Channings throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Coach works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Channings is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Coach is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Coach has escaped and now he's on top!

Coach content to stall in guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Head Coach dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Channings unleashes a big counter combination but Coach bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Coach tries to clinch up but Channings circles away and keeps his distance.
Channings circles away from the clinch attempt.
Coach tries to clinch up but Channings circles away and keeps his distance.
And Channings tries to counter it with a takedown but Coach pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Coach throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Channings scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Channings jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Coach is looking to clinch.
Channings will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Head Coach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coach tries to close the distance and clinch but Channings swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Coach connects with a nice looking jab.
Channings might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Coach wants to clinch up but Channings keeps it at a distance.
Donk. Channings catches Coach right on the button with a cross.
Coach tries to clinch up but Channings circles away and keeps his distance.
Channings throws out a counter right but Coach avoids it with no problem.

Channings misses with a looping left.
Coach throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Channings colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Coach as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Channings is left battered and dazed whilst Coach and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Head Coach!
Head Coach decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
