Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ike Anthony! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luuk De Graeff! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anthony looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? De Graeff is fending him off so far but Anthony persists. Nope, De Graeff circles away and we're back to standing. De Graeff shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anthony as he jumps to the side. De Graeff pushes Anthony up against the cage in a clinch. Anthony really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. De Graeff wants a takedown but no success here.
De Graeff is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Anthony is defending well for now. De Graeff makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. De Graeff stalling in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Graeff pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. De Graeff darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Anthony is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. De Graeff doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Anthony. Anthony thumps the canvas. De Graeff is not content to let Anthony control the position. Anthony is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so De Graeff is just riding it out for now. Anthony eventually gives up the hold. De Graeff tries to get to full guard but Anthony has control of the leg.

Anthony manages to capitalize on a mistake by De Graeff to take his back! Anthony biding his time, controlling De Graeff. Anthony is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! De Graeff is trying to get back to his feet but Anthony has full control of the position and if anything, De Graeff has just worked his way into a worse spot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ike Anthony will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ike Anthony's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
De Graeff lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anthony circles away quickly and effectively. Anthony throws a big counter combination but De Graeff scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. De Graeff throws a shot from downtown. Anthony moves away and avoids it. De Graeff tries to clinch but Anthony is having none of it. Anthony is looking to counter punch. Ike Anthony is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. De Graeff tries to bum rush Anthony with a series of wild strikes but Anthony uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Anthony fails with a takedown attempt. De Graeff misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. De Graeff scores with a takedown into Anthony's guard. Anthony throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Anthony scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Luuk De Graeff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Graeff closes the distance and clinches up with Anthony, looking for a takedown. De Graeff pushes Anthony against the cage but Anthony circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. De Graeff tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Anthony's elbow. De Graeff manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Anthony's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Luuk De Graeff has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! De Graeff has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Anthony avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Ike Anthony is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Anthony blocks an uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight! Ike Anthony showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anthony, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
