Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tie He (ranked 5938 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naoyuki Tokudome (ranked 5936 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tie He! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Naoyuki Tokudome! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tokudome looks for a takedown but He sprawls well. Tokudome throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. He throws a big counter combination but Tokudome scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. He closes the distance and clinches. Tokudome pulls He into guard.
Tokudome had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. He defends it easily. He preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. He trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. He is working hard here to advance position. He is looking to stand up but Tokudome won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. He wants to stand and escape but instead Tokudome has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. He striking off his back but it's not causing Tokudome any problems. Tokudome wants to control from the top but He keeps moving. He wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Tokudome is now in half guard. He is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Tokudome pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. He trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Tokudome manages to pass to mount!
Tokudome tries to control but He wriggling away. He tries to hold on but Tokudome postures up. He tries to get back to half guard but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tokudome wants to control the pace but He is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tokudome with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Tokudome looking to control but He is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tokudome blocks He's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. He tries to hold on but Tokudome pushes him away. Tokudome tries to control but He wriggling away. Tokudome in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tokudome wants to control the pace but He is squirming around nicely. He is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Naoyuki Tokudome dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
He rushes Tokudome and presses him up against the cage. He tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tokudome avoids it. Tokudome tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. He smiles and moves away.
Tokudome wants to clinch. Tokudome misses with a takedown attempt and He counters with a takedown into side control. He trying to control the position but Tokudome is working away. Tokudome sneaks back into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tokudome trying to hold on to He's head to control him but He postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. He is trying to control the action in half guard but Tokudome is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. He is thwarting Tokudome's attempts to control the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Tokudome is not content to let He control the position. He looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
He knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tokudome on the ground. He is trying to control the action in half guard but Tokudome is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tokudome lands a straight punch to the body, keeping He at a distance.
Tokudome has a takedown stuffed. A quick step to the side and He tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Tie He has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Naoyuki Tokudome. He walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nice takedown defense from He. No joy for Tokudome on that attempt. Tie He is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's three minutes gone in the round. He doesn't succeed with the takedown and Tokudome counters with a three punch combo that has He backing up. He nods at Tokudome to acknowledge the strikes. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tokudome lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as He backs up against the cage.
He doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. He gets a double leg takedown into Tokudome's guard. Tokudome is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. He trying to control but Tokudome is working from the bottom. He has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tokudome to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! He is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tokudome pulls down on the head and he's put He to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Naoyuki Tokudome!
