Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies fails with the takedown
and Gonzalez counters with a left and a right that stings Davies.
Davies dives in for a single leg takedown but Gonzalez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gonzalez seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Davies tries for a takedown but Gonzalez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
