Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Akili Webb (ranked 4716 p4p, 447 weight class) and Jouko Juntti (ranked 4697 p4p, 444 weight class). Webb comes to the cage accompanied by See/Saw- Jay Reatard. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webb throws a right and a left that both miss.
A chopping leg kick lands by Webb.

It looks like Jouko Juntti has been cut.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Oooooh!!! Webb has knocked Juntti down with a huge combo! Webb steps away and waves a wobbly Juntti back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Juntti remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Webb knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Juntti on the ground.

Juntti's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Webb pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Webb blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
