Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Sexyama (ranked 3136 p4p, 428 weight class) and Bea Mason (ranked 3566 p4p, 481 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the body from Sexyama misses
and Mason counters with a series of strikes. Sexyama will be more careful next time no doubt.
Sexyama throws a leg kick but Mason sees it coming and moves out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mason has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Sexyama closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mason wants to control but Sexyama is keeping busy and won't allow it.

We've been hearing good reports from Sexyama's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
