Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seth Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Miyamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Hughes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenji Miyamoto!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miyamoto fails to land with a series of punches.

Hughes jumps guard and drags Miyamoto to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Miyamoto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Miyamoto throws a leg kick but Hughes checks it.
Hughes dodges the punch combination from Miyamoto.

and Hughes counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Miyamoto's guard now.

Miyamoto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hughes controls the pace.

Hughes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miyamoto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hughes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
