Deux kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Post Party Depression. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deux slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Deux scoring well with a low kick there.
Hines looks to land a left hand but Deux moved out of range nicely.
Deux turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Deux lunges at Hines with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hines's hand.
Deux moves into range and clinches up with Hines.
Deux scores with a hook to the body.
Deux scores with a shoulder strike.
Hines looks winded!
Hines tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A short left from Deux.
Deux drops Hines onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Hines is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Hines is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clinched against the cage, Deux lands a big elbow that drops Hines! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Hines is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Numero Deux!
