The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrade misses with the combination.
Johnson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Andrade.

Andrade throws a right hand that Johnson ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnson also avoids with ease.

No joy there for Andrade, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Carlos Andrade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Johnson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Andrade wants to break the clinch but can't.

Johnson swings wildly with an uppercut but Andrade uses good head movement to avoid it.
Andrade breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Johnson lunges at Andrade with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Andrade's hand.
Andrade throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Johnson rushes Andrade and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Andrade's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Andrade breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Johnson tests Andrade's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Johnson throws a right and a left that Andrade avoids nicely.
Andrade takes a jab right on the kisser.
Andrade is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Johnson cracks Andrade with a right hand to the side of the head.
Andrade on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Andrade looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Johnson connects with a nice looking jab.
A punch lands to the side of Andrade 's head but he takes it in his stride.
BOOM! Johnson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Andrade. Andrade tries to recover but Johnson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Andrade lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Manny Johnson!
A less than humble Manny Johnson misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
