Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mongolian Muslim (ranked 473 p4p, 20 weight class) and Arn Anderson (ranked 965 p4p, 41 weight class). Muslim comes to the cage accompanied by Modern Mongolian Music - Sandy Desert. Anderson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Thunderstruck-by ACDC kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Eliza Hachem and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Anderson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Muslim throws out a loose jab but Anderson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Anderson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Muslim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Muslim wants it to stay on the feet.
Muslim throwing a counter right hand but Anderson manages to avoid it.
Arn Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson throws a jab but it's blocked by Muslim.
Muslim connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Anderson's hands.
We've been told by Muslim's head coaches at Russian Bears Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Muslim looks to land a left hand but Anderson moved out of range nicely.
Nice shot lands for Muslim.
Muslim catches Anderson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Muslim is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muslim just misses with a punch to the body.
Muslim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Anderson moves away.
Anderson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Muslim counter with a right hand.

and Muslim counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Anderson slips under a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Muslim gets caught napping as Anderson dives in and scores a takedown. Muslim manages to retain guard.
Muslim will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Anderson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Muslim looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Anderson passes into side control.
Anderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Anderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Anderson is looking to take a break and control but Muslim is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Muslim isn't going anywhere.
Anderson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Muslim is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Anderson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Muslim has escaped the position, nice work there.
Muslim tries to bench press Anderson off him but Anderson keeps the position.

Anderson tries for a kimura but Muslim is defending well.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Muslim wants to control but Anderson postures up.
Muslim has one of Anderson's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Anderson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Muslim looks calm but he's in trouble here. Anderson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Muslim is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Anderson lets go of the hold and Muslim can pop his arm back in it's socket.

An intense looking Arn Anderson took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'The ANDERSON ERA is IN FULL EFFECT!!!
