Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Steel (ranked 2835 p4p, 264 weight class) and Mark Borrego (ranked 3028 p4p, 283 weight class). Steel comes to the cage accompanied by Excuse Me. Borrego is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thunderstruck-by ACDC. Peter Steel had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Borrego, as that shot connected.
Steel misses with a looping right.
Borrego connects with a crisp jab.
Borrego scores with a nice head shot.
Steel moves out of range of the strikes.
An attempted straight right counter from Steel misses the target.
Borrego slips a straight right by Steel.
A slow jab from Borrego misses its intended target.
Steel swings widly with a right hand
and Borrego counters with a straight right hand.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Steel.
Borrego instigates a clinch.
Borrego misses with the head strike.
A short right from Borrego on the inside.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Borrego throws a punch but it's blocked by Steel.
Borrego lands with a right to the head.
Steel trying to stall but Borrego improves his position.
Borrego tries to work over Steel's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Borrego lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Steel or not.
Borrego misses with some punches.

Borrego blocks a body shot from Steel.
A short uppercut from Borrego.
Steel has had enough of the clinch but Borrego keeps him there for the moment.
Steel struggles to land a body shot inside as Borrego controls his hands.
Steel is trying to maintain a safe position but Borrego gets an underhook and turns Steel into the cage.
Borrego presses Steel against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Steel is breathing heavily.
Borrego lands a right hand that snaps the head of Steel backwards.
Borrego scores with a shoulder strike.
Borrego throws a punch but it's blocked by Steel.
Borrego has a couple of punches blocked by Steel.
Steel is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Borrego lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Borrego lands a nice uppercut.
Steel throws a punch but it's blocked by Borrego.
Borrego misses with a hook from the clinch.
Borrego pushes Steel back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Steel tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Borrego's elbow.
Borrego lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Borrego content to slow the pace in the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Steel breaks from the clinch.
Steel dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Steel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Steel there as he acknowledges the shot.
Steel swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Borrego counters with a straight right hand.
Borrego lands a glancing blow to the side of Steel's head.
Borrego throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Steel sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Borrego lands a jab to the head.
Steel is rocked!
Borrego fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Steel to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Steel looks to clinch but Borrego throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Steel taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Mark Borrego decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
