Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George St Peter!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pak throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Dae Jung Pak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pak swings widly with a right hand
and St Peter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pak scores with a hook to the body. St Peter takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

St Peter drives through with a takedown into Pak's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Pak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Pak escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. St Peter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pak seems keen to control St Peter's posture.
St Peter sitting in guard here, content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pak looking for a guillotine here but St Peter defends easily.
St Peter is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

St Peter scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Pak seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Pak is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. St Peter is aware though and is defending well.
St Peter is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Pak is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and St Peter defends well.

St Peter postures up and lands a big shot to Pak's brow.

Pak has his foot on St Peter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. St Peter works his way back into a safe position though.

Pak looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
St Peter controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Let's hope that St Peter has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
St Peter won't allow Pak to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
St Peter is stalling in the full guard.

Pak wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and St Peter is now in half guard.

St Peter drops an elbow to the side of Pak's head.
Pak wants to improve his position but St Peter is controlling well.
St Peter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

St Peter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

St Peter is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
St Peter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Pak tries to roll over but St Peter keeps him under control.

Pak is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but St Peter pulls his head out easily.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Pak is trying to control but can't.
Pak moves into full guard.
Pak is trying to keep St Peter in close.
St Peter postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
St Peter engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

St Peter postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Pak covers up, he's hurt! St Peter keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from St Peter and the ref steps in to end the fight! St Peter can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
