The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a series of punches but Johnson avoids them all with ease.
Johnson throws a left and a right that both miss

and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

It looks like Kurt Johnson has been cut.
Johnson is trying to stand.
Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Johnson gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

Johnson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Johnson 's guard.

Johnson is rocked!

Johnson stands up and waves to Johnson to follow him.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Johnson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Johnson rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage.

Johnson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Johnson 's efforts to push away.
Johnson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Johnson is trying to pull guard but Johnson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Johnson has had enough of the clinch but Johnson keeps him there for the moment.

Johnson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Johnson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Johnson scrambles back to his feet.

Johnson scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Johnson postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Johnson covers up, he's hurt! Johnson keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Johnson and the ref steps in to end the fight! Johnson can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
