Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke fails with the takedown.
Xian tries to clinch there but Clarke circles away.
Clarke closes this distance looking for a takedown but Xian circles away.
Horrible takedown by Clarke or perhaps it was just good defense by Xian which made him look bad.
Bjornigin Xian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mick Clarke.
Xian drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Clarke is looking for a sweep. Xian is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Clarke can do anything to dispel that myth.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Xian is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Clarke is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Xian feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
