Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kees Jansma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kerry Collins! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jansma is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Collins decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Collins passes to full mount! Collins lands with some strikes. Collins scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jansma?

That's one minute gone in the round. Jansma holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Collins tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Jansma tries to hold on but Collins pushes him away. Collins throws some wild stikes that Jansma manages to avoid easily.
The referee warns Jansma that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Collins cracks Jansma with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Collins looking to ground and pound but Jansma is blocking nicely. Collins looking to control but Jansma is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Collins moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Jansma has worked his arm free - good work by Jansma!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Collins throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Jansma works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Collins misses with a head shot. Jansma uses the momentum to regain guard. Collins throwing strikes from guard but Jansma blocks nicely. Collins looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jansma wants to stand up but Collins is controlling him. Jansma is trying to keep Collins in close.
Collins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Collins working some strikes from top position. Collins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Collins postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Collins works a leg free and moves into half guard. Collins prevents Jansma from standing back up.
Collins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jansma with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Collins thows a huge punch but Jansma dodges it nicely.
Collins misses with a head shot. Jansma uses the momentum to regain guard. Jansma is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jansma wants to stand but Collins is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kerry Collins dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jansma tries to clinch up. Collins fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Collins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Collins tries to clinch up but Jansma circles away and keeps his distance. Collins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jansma's guard. Jansma has his foot on Collins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Collins works his way back into a safe position though. Collins trying to control but Jansma is working from the bottom. Collins throws a sloppy strike and Jansma has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Collins is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Jansma!
