The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jansma is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Collins decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The referee warns Jansma that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Collins cracks Jansma with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Collins misses with a head shot. Jansma uses the momentum to regain guard.

Collins looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jansma with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Collins thows a huge punch but Jansma dodges it nicely.

Jansma is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Jansma wants to stand but Collins is controlling the position.

Collins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Collins shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jansma's guard.

Jansma has his foot on Collins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Collins works his way back into a safe position though.
