Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Crack Head (ranked 4318 p4p, 467 weight class) and Tim Greene (ranked 6960 p4p, 603 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Greene's choice of entrance music: Back In Black. Crack Head had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Crack Head!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Greene!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greene tries for a takedown but Head circles away easily
and Head counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Greene is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Greene misses with a takedown attempt
and Head counters with a nice uppercut.
Greene has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Greene closes the distance and clinches up with Head, looking for a takedown. Greene pushes Head against the cage but Head circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Crack Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Greene.

Head pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Head circles away from the clinch attempt.
A right-left combo lands from Head.


Greene is rocked!
Head misses with a jab, cross combination.
Greene is still on wobbly legs! Can Head finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Greene looks for a takedown but Head sprawls well.
Head went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Greene shoots in but Head avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Head seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Greene seems to have recovered his senses.
Greene looks winded!
Head stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Head wants it to stay on the feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Greene has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Head.
Greene slips a jab and a cross from Head.

Head gets a clinch.

Head breaks from the clinch.
Head fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Head stuffs the takedown.
Greene darts in looking for a takedown but Head gets double underhooks and turns Greene into the cage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Head. That's going to slow Greene down.
Greene closes this distance looking for a takedown but Head circles away.

and Head counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Greene!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Head stands up.

and Head cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Head pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Head with a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Greene doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Head connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Head lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Head closes the distance and pushes Greene back into the cage.
Head prevents a takedown attempt there.
Head lands a hook to the side of the head.

Head gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Greene is working an open guard so Head takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Head gets a clinch.
Greene tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Head smiles and moves away.
Tim Greene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Head lands a hook that stumbles Greene back into the cage. Head follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Greene to the canvas! Head pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Greene has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Crack Head!
During a confident post fight interview, Crack Head thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
