Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Lee (ranked 5268 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Amadeo (ranked 6613 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Lee has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mason Amadeo! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee goes for a double leg but Amadeo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Amadeo continues to drive forward. And Amadeo tries to counter it with a takedown but Lee pushes his down on his head and steps out. Lee steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Amadeo. Amadeo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lee defends it nicely. Amadeo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Lee connects with a looping right hand.
Amadeo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Amadeo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee wants to stand but Amadeo is controlling his arm. Amadeo sneaks back into half guard. Lee prevents Amadeo from improving his position. Nice strikes from Lee there. Lee sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Amadeo defending well though. Amadeo wants to control but Lee is keeping busy and won't allow it. That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amadeo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though. Well, if Lee is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Amadeo on the ground. Lee throwing shots but Amadeo is blocking nicely. Lee sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Amadeo defending well though. Amadeo controlling the position well.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Amadeo defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice defenses there by Lee. Lee has Amadeo up against the cage in a clinch.
Amadeo working hard to break the clinch. Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Amadeo is working for takedown but Lee is calmly controlling the position for now. Amadeo wants a takedown but no success here.

Lee wants the takedown. Amadeo is fighting it off but Lee persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Amadeo's guard against the cage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Amadeo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lee defends it easily. Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lee throws a big elbow that misses. Lee landing some decent shots from guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lee is working Amadeo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lee looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Amadeo! Amadeo can't do much from the bottom here. Amadeo is not content to let Lee control the position. Lee advances to full mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee prevents Amadeo from getting the reversal. Lee is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Amadeo manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Lee wants to lay and pray for a moment but Amadeo keeps working. Amadeo trying to hold on to Lee's head to control him but Lee postures up.
Eric Lee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Amadeo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though. Amadeo is pressing down on Lee's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Lee wants to get up but he can't break Amadeo's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Lee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Lee postures up.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amadeo checks a low kick from Lee.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big right from Amadeo misses. The fighters circling - Amadeo throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Eric Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee tries for a takedown but Amadeo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Eric Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lee tries to clinch up. Amadeo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Horrible takedown attempt by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Amadeo, which made it look bad. Amadeo wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving. Lee is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Amadeo can do to turn this around? Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! Amadeo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Lee manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Amadeo has Lee in his guard.

and Lee counters with a lovely shot to the body. Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Amadeo tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Lee rushes Amadeo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lee gets control of Amadeo's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lee will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Amadeo stands and throws Lee's legs to the side, diving into side control. Amadeo taking a breather here. Amadeo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Amadeo misses with the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amadeo lands a nice forearm strike. Lee is trying to control Amadeo's posture but Amadeo avoids it. Amadeo working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Amadeo scores with a couple of short elbows. Amadeo wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Lee avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Amadeo. Amadeo in side control, just content to control the action for now. Check out the look on Amadeo's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Amadeo trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom. Lee tries to buck Amadeo off but Amadeo is having none of it. Amadeo controlling the position. Amadeo misses with the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Amadeo controls the position. The strikes coming from Amadeo are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Lee is working to avoid the ground and pound but Amadeo connects with a decent elbow. Lee is trying to control Amadeo's posture but Amadeo avoids it. Amadeo advances nicely into full mount. Lee taking shots to the head. Amadeo avoids the attempt from Lee to control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lee really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Mason Amadeo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Eric Lee is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Amadeo thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
And that's the end of the fight! Mason Amadeo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
