The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black tries to keep at a distance but Beliy has taken the fight into the clinch.
Black tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Nice body punch from Beliy - that landed with a thud.
Black goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Beliy lands a right hand.

It looks like Vlad Black has been cut.
Beliy throws a head punch that misses.
Beliy lands a body shot.
Black blocking some punches.
Black working aggressively here.
Beliy gets through Black's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Black misses with a punch to the body.
Beliy is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Black is defending well.
Black blocks an uppercut.
Beliy misses with a shot to the kidneys.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It seemed like Black was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Black lands a jab to the nose.

and Black counters with a nice uppercut.
Sasha Beliy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beliy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Beliy takes the fight into the clinch.
Black lands a right hand that snaps the head of Beliy backwards.
Beliy lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Black backwards.
Beliy misses with a body punch.
Black softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Black escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Beliy throws a body shot but no joy.
Beliy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Black throws out the jab.

Beliy lands a big uppercut and Black crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Black looks OK. Beliy waves Black back to his feet!

Black is rocked!

Beliy rushes Black and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Black is still on wobbly legs! Can Beliy finish him?
Beliy misses with the head strike.
Beliy lands a hook that snaps the head of Black backwards.
Beliy throws a big uppercut that drops Black! More strikes from Beliy and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Black lies dazed against the cage as Beliy celebrates with his cornermen!
