Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Driskill (ranked 5850 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Tate (ranked 7467 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driskill takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Driskill misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tate tries to clinch there but Driskill circles away.

Tate tries to buck Driskill off but Driskill is having none of it.
Driskill takes a little break here. Tate wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Horrible takedown attempt by Tate or perhaps it was just good defense by Driskill, which made it look bad.
Driskill closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Driskill lands in his opponent's guard.
Tate is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Driskill is aware though and is defending well.

Tate shoots in looking for a takedown but Driskill manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tate 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Tate has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Driskill is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Tate .
