Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tshilomba Mwekassa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Salahdine Parnasse!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parnasse shoots in looking for a takedown but Mwekassa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Parnasse's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Mwekassa gets tackled into the cage by Parnasse. Parnasse maintains the clinch.

Mwekassa manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mwekassa has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Parnasse is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mwekassa.
Parnasse working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Parnasse is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mwekassa is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Parnasse trying to control the action but Mwekassa is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mwekassa is looking for a sweep.
Mwekassa struggling a bit here.

Mwekassa is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mwekassa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parnasse on the ground.
Parnasse working away.
Parnasse trying to control the position but Mwekassa is working away.
Mwekassa looks to move to half guard but instead Parnasse has passed into mount! Damn!
Mwekassa is in all sorts of trouble here.
Parnasse trying to control but Mwekassa is having none of it.
Mwekassa keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Parnasse has hold of Mwekassa's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mwekassa manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mwekassa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mwekassa tries to get out of the position.
Mwekassa wants to hold on but Parnasse pushes him away.

Parnasse looking to secure an arm triangle but Mwekassa defends it well.
Mwekassa really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Mwekassa is squirming around, avoiding Parnasse's attempts to control the action.
Mwekassa is trying to escape the mount.
Parnasse tries to control but Mwekassa wriggling away.

Mwekassa defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Parnasse.

Parnasse prevents Mwekassa from getting the reversal.
Parnasse landing shots from mount.
Mwekassa is looking to improve his position but Parnasse isn't that keen on the idea.
Parnasse breaks from Mwekassa's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Parnasse is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mwekassa can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Mwekassa wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Mwekassa is trying to reverse the position but instead Parnasse has taken his back - oops!
Parnasse controlling well, preventing Mwekassa from escaping the position.

Mwekassa is working hard here to advance position.
Mwekassa wants to control his opponent's hands but Parnasse gets his hands free.
Mwekassa is breathing heavily.
Parnasse is hanging on to Mwekassa's back as he tries to escape.
Mwekassa is trying to stand back up.

Parnasse has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Mwekassa is in real trouble here. Parnasse gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Mwekassa is tapping out! Parnasse wins by rear naked choke!
