Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dick Army (ranked 1079 p4p, 135 weight class) and Max Handle (ranked 1770 p4p, 228 weight class). Army comes to the cage accompanied by Dick Army. Handle has chosen Right On as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Dick Army! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Max Handle! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Army enables Handle to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Army manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Army avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Army preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Handle postures up in Army's guard and throws a big left but Army blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Army has his feet on Handle's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Handle looks to clinch and Army counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Army leaves Handle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Handle has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Handle gets tackled into the cage by Army. Army maintains the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Army tries to break free but Handle pushes him back against the cage. Handle tries to score a body lock takedown but Army shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Army can't break the clinch.
Army wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Handle has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Army is defending well against a takedown attempt. Dick Army has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Handle. Handle takes a shot to the head. Army breaks the clinch.
Handle has his takedown stuffed and Army counters with a lovely straight right hand! Army moves into the clinch. Army tries to circle away but Handle has him pinned against the cage. Army breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Army moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Army getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Handle is rocked! Handle looks up at the clock. Bad move! Army lands a right hand from hell, dropping Handle. Army pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dick Army! Dick Army took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
