Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Demarte Pena (ranked 2831 p4p, 121 weight class) and Mako Takaziko (ranked 22363 p4p, 288 weight class). Pena comes to the cage accompanied by Mesmo Assim. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mako Takaziko was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pena shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Takaziko defends it nicely.

Takaziko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pena gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Pena here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
